The OZ Outback Odyssey is an event like no other. This iconic event is South Australia’s premier event for car enthusiasts and adventurers alike, providing a truly unique outback experience that entrants remember forever!


Founded in 1992 by the Port Adelaide Football Club– with part proceeds supporting Novita Children’s Services.

From 2014 the event is now run by a non-profit organisation named OZBASH. The major beneficiary of the event is now the Royal Flying Doctor Service who will receive a minimum of 75% of the net proceeds from the event.

OZ Outback Odyssey Committee

The Committee has 9 representatives all of which are passionate volunteers previous, past and current entrants or officials.
The committee provides the structure and framework for the format of the event.
